The club was formed in 1941 from local devotees and still retains strong links with local residents and Marrickville Council. We are a Par 60 course centrally situated on the historic Cooks River just 6 short kilometres from the Sydney Business District and 4 kilometres from the airport.

Although it is a shade less than 4000 metres long it is a demanding course which requires accurate tee shots and is great for developing the golfers short game. The nature of the course is ideal for all golfers regardless of age and ability.

As a public golf course it caters for all social players on most days of the week and there is special attention given to social clubs who find it very suitable for their players with its central location.

The clubhouse is ideal for private functions with ample room for parking and is an area, which lends itself to a pleasant ambiance. We offer very attractive packages (golfing or non-golfing) to cater for social and corporate days. A variety of menus are available and bar prices is a refreshing change from more expensive venues.

The course is particularly suitable for groups who wish to play 9 holes and hold management sessions during the week and special discounts can be arranged. For schools situated within a reasonable geographic proximity it is an opportunity for pupils to play 9 or 18 holes at a reasonable cost. The development of young golfers has always been a primary concern and this attitude has produced many fine players who have played in state junior teams and progressed to wider horizons in their later golfing careers.
