Marrickville Golf Club is proud to introduce their new team in the Pro Shop: Kylie Moulds and Chris Miller. As resident professionals, Kylie and Chris will provide a professional golf service that is second to none.

Kylie and Chris came to Marrickville Golf Club after spending 2005 managing a golf school in the home of golf, St. Andrews Scotland . During their time in St . Andrews , they conducted group classes for beginners, group classes for women and junior classes. They conducted all of this coaching at the St. Andrews Links Golf Centre, and carried out accompanied play lessons on the six golf courses of the St. Andrews Links Trust. Impressively, Kylie is the only female golf professional to have worked at the St. Andrews Links Practice Centre.

As the daughter of a golf professional, Kylie was introduced to golf as a teenager. After playing amateur golf at a representative level, Kylie began a traineeship with the Australian Professional Golfers Association. Upon graduation Kylie became one of only a few female golf professionals to have successfully completed the PGA Traineeship. Since graduating Kylie has been awarded AAA status (the highest level Professional qualification) by the Australian PGA. Kylie has extensive experience as a golf coach, teaching women, men and children of all skill levels. In previous employment, Kylie has worked in private and public golf facilities, conducted adult group classes and worked with the Australian PGA to develop and conduct a corporate golf program for corporate business women. Kylie is a full member of the Australian PGA and the ALPG (Australian Ladies Professional Golf).

Growing up adjacent to Marrickville Golf Club, Chris began playing golf as a teenager and very quickly became an accomplished player, representing The Lakes Golf Club and playing in many NSW teams in interstate competitions. Chris completed his Australian PGA Traineeship at Marrickville Golf Club under the guidance of Greg Stewart. Throughout his traineeship, Chris enjoyed success as a player marked by the highlight of winning the 2000 Australian National Futures Trainee Championships, and representing Australia at the United States Assistants Championship in Florida .

The Pro Shop at Marrickville Golf Club is filled with the latest golf equipment including a range of brands such as Titleist, King Cobra, Ping , PGF, Nike, Maxfli, Precept, Srixon, Turtle Creek, Sporte Leisure and many more. Kylie and Chris have an extensive range of demonstration equipment, including drivers, hybrid irons, fairway woods, wedges, full sets in both right and left hand, for men and women. This means that, as members, you can try before you buy at you own golf club.

They guarantee to match or beat any written quote on any golf equipment, and the after sale service will always be there when members need it.

Marrickville Pro Shop also offers a complete repair service for golf clubs. New grips are fitted from $4.00 and clubs are re-shafted with the shaft of your choice. The Pro Shop also has a complete range of hire equipment, from a brand new fleet of motorised carts to clubs and hire buggies.

Marrickville Golf course is one of only a select few golf courses that offer social play on both Saturday and Sunday mornings. Non members are welcome to play on the weekend and can easily book a tee time by calling Marrickville Pro Shop on 02 9558 6862.

As a female Professional and a male Professional, together Kylie and Chris create a unique Professional team, who will happily cater to the golfing needs of all members and visitors.

Golf Coaching (golf lessons)
Both Kylie and Chris specialise in golf tuition. They provide golf tuition programs for all players, from beginners to advanced. Their teaching philosophy is to keep instruction uncomplicated and in keeping with the capabilities of each client. Their program range includes individual lessons and group classes, corporate golf and junior clinics.
